Could be ABS, but they don't seem to have that 'almost brittle feel' not enough. I would make them out of more durable polypropylene If anyone has snapped a door handle then my guess would be ABS
They are polypropylene, hence they have some flexibility and don't snap. They also have that oily feel about them, which makes sticking carbon look vinyl and other similar products to them difficult. (hence it comes off afterwards) Stu
When you cut a.b.s with a hacksaw it has a distinct smell that is unlike anything else. It is an easy way of telling if something is a.b.s once you have smelt it you will never forget. Cheers Dave
(HDPP) Don't know if your have solved this yet, I do materials study of plastics for my Uni course. Its a High Density Polypropylene, you can tell if you bend or snap a fraction of it there is white discoloration. Why do you ask? are you trying to get one remade?
I am also wondering why he is asking. Yes the votes are in and it is obviously polypropylene. Definitely the best material for the job (unless you upgrade to the chrome metal version)
