Ok, so I'm doing a bit of window shopping for the Z via Google Images (gotta love it), and I come across my photos of Cindy's car. This website is using my image and I didn't even know about it. Can I make any money out of this? http://www.aitracingbodykits.com/90_96_nissan_300zx_parts_catalog_vm.html I think it's US by the look of the contact number.
You have a case, but in intercontinental internet-land there isn't much you can do. I'd contact them and ask that they take it down, but I doubt you'll see any money out of this
You could ask nicely i suppose, they most likely will just take the image down and pick another one from google images though..
you won't see money out of this Cam, they'll just have to remove your image straight away and use something else - and that's even if you threaten them with a law suit. Been through this stuff before in my industry with advertising, no biggy, just a smack on the hand and say stop using that photo or logo or whatever...
I'm kind of humbled by it really. Sure it's only a small image and no real big deal since I never used it. But it's still mine and they are using it for business purposes. Do I even bother? Let them have it?
