Hi guys, Im looking at upgrading my sound system, I want to fit 6.5 inch speakers in the front and 6x9 in the rear, the car is a non-bose ZX, and all the adapters ive found say they're for a bose model. What are my options? Will those "bose model" adapters work?
I suggest taking your front door trims off & having a look, mine didn't come with the bose boxes either but I've got 6.5's in there. Was done year's & year's ago so can't remember if I used an mdf spacer but they fit no worries. Rear's I went 6.5's as well but I did fit a pair of the bose boxes which bolt straight up (& which the speakers fit straight into).
