[WA] Night Cruise 25 March 2006

Got some good and "interesting" footage to say the least, this one should be good

 

Between mickey, me, chris and the tuned girls its gonna be an all out

video war...can't wait!

The start of chris's is looking awesome.....doing a very good job for a first attempt. I'm giving him a head start before I get chopping. haha.

our camera ran out of tape pretty early on... got some footage but not the whole drive...

Don't blame me - Caz didn't put a new tape in

 

If there are going to be more stops, how about less time at each stop.

Two hours of being in two carparks and only going from Perth to Hillaries isn't much of a cruise!

franz, not all cruises have to be at 140km/hr through the bush, if you want one, you organise it..

cops, well if your doing nothing wrong they will leave you alone. (i will make a point to put the silencers in my exhaust if i come on a cruise though)

When did I make a comment about speeding or going through the bush?

All I said was that in 2 1/2 hours the cruise had gone from the city to Hillaries - yes, it did go further but how much later was it? Standing around in carparks loitering for most of the night isn't really a cruise!


As for cops doing nothing if you're not doing anything wrong.... you don't get out much do you?

 

Yeah understood. But 2 hours and 15kms up the road.

More cruising rather than standing around would have been good.

haha, i drive everywhere, i drive for a living (last 2 months, yes it was in my Z)

you usually make that comment any time a cruise is going to be organised.. i know you like lots of twisties at high speeds..

i didnt go to this one, maybe the car park time was too long.. but cruises are about catching up and chatting as much as they are about driving in a big swarm of cars

oh, and the weird custom black n silver car is zedzillas

no offense, like anything, so long as you like it.. most of the car is hot.. i just really dont like that front bar (c2 no lower lip yeah?)

 

I pass comment because zeds are performance cars - not shopping trollies!

I don't mind standing in a carpark having a chat - some of the best jokes come from times like that - but people come to cruises because they like driving - when there is 20mins of driving and 2+ hours of standing around - not to mention cops being at the first two stops and all the way along the route, it gets a bit boring and takes alot of the fun out of it.

Im not really having a whinge - hence why I simply left the cruise after Hillaries.

 

The reason why there was a wait

at the first stop is because we were waiting for people from Tuned to show up, otherwise we would have gone earlier, trust me as soon as she got there we were off...

As for hillary's i waited for another who called me saying hold on, he'll be there soon, its a bit rude leaving and them rocking up to find no-one there, another delay was wookie fundraising (im not complaining - not a bad thing at all) and then talking to the cops

Sure i would have liked to leave earlier at times, but some things have to give esp with a large crowd and people turning up later on during the night...

 

Whilst the cruising wasn't fantastic as the metro cruises never are....

the best for routes, it was just fun having a good time without driving an hour outta town.

Plus I normally get a bit tired standing around, and I know my housemate was getting a bit like that, but I was having a great time socialising with everyone....good mix of people to talk to. I mean we must have hung out at carousel for over an hour before we left....and it was all fun.

he spent lotsa $ on that.. I do like the body work, just the 2 tone with gold wheels is probably a bit much. I think he said he'll be getting new wheels and can then fit the lower part of the front bar which should appeal to more.

 

Even though I did not make this last cruise.....

I would have to agree with Franz. A cruise should be a good blend of socialising and Driving. We are a CAR Club and I think everyone is interested in driving their car at cruises. The big pack has impact with lots of spectacular Zeds getting around together. When the pack splits up it looses its effect.

Keep up the good work Miksta in organising cruises.
Being an organiser is a thankless task...but you do a great job.

Get the right blend of chatting and driving and everyone will be happy.

To be honest, I've no idea. It was on the car when I bought it, and I've never paid much attention to it because I always planned to go spoilerless.

And yes i understand where both of you are coming from, its a car club and we want to go places, its just hard organising it as smooth as possible with so many people, people always arrive late, some later than others, i can't control that...

Im not having a go at you's but some things are out of my control, and yes tim, thought u were going to make a surpirse appearance, doesn't matter maybe next time :thumbsup:
