Just my 2 cents on mr.tom himself (zrated as he is known here), after sending my car in yesterday. This is the experience i have had with him over the last 2 days, which have ensured him as the only person who will work on my Zed for as long as i have it and as long as he is still in business.

His workshop is in Clarkson, i live in Murdoch, so i have an hours drive ahead of me. Leave the house at 7:30am, rock up there at 8:40am. Meet Tom, give him my spare keys, and i'm off to the bus station. 10 mins i get a call, my spare keys don't work (i've never used them). Run back and drop off my immobilizer, run back just in time to catch the bus (literally, i had to run to catch it).

Get home 2 hours later after taking 2 buses and 2 trains. 1.5 hours later i get a call - The car is done! It was sent in for a minor servicing and wheel alignment, Tom's called me up saying it's done and let's me know what else needs to be fixed up. I tell him which one of them i want done right now (as per his recommendations) which were an induction service and new bush for front swaybar. He says sure, they will be done tomorrow.

Next day, get called at 1pm; it will be done in an hour. Immediately i get going to the bus stop to take bus to train station and catch 2 trains and another bus. 90 mins later, i am lost. I took the wrong bus from the Clarkson station and have no idea where to go or how to get to PZP. Call up tom since he knows the area to ask how to get there, and he says he'll pick me up from a nearby service station! He gets there 5 mins later in my finished car and drives me back to PZP. 500m away from PZP i inquire about a noise i used to hear at around 70kmph and he says he never heard it. So he turns around and goes back onto the main road to hear for himself. Turns out i just have very noisy front wheels lol.

Got back to PZP, he gave me the service report, told me and explained to me in detail what he saw was wrong, how urgent they were, and what he recommended. I paid for it (was quite happy with the price) but i had a few questions, so we stood there for about 15 minutes talking until i had my questions answered, he was more than happy to make sure i understood everything and never once did i feel that he wanted me to leave so he could get back to work Finally i knew exactly how my car was going and found out some valuable information about my vehicle, he even said he will look up what else needs to be done and email me a quote on the work that is required!

I left PZP extremely satisfied and although i was reluctant at first to make the hour long trip, i am very glad that i did. Thank you to those who suggested i go to Tom, and thanks to Tom especially for being a top guy and knowing his stuff! Will talk to you soon mate to book in my next servicing in about 3 months :p

Excellent, great to see there are specialists that live up to the hype!

Now, what's going on with their website? Do they require a new web developer, perhaps? ;)
