today was the greatly awaited VIC mountain cruise.
turnout was pretty good, around 10 or so cars turned up.The road was better than i expected specially as two of us decided to push our cars a little.
lets just say the TT couldnt keep up with my N/A :)

    >D< (i luv my car) :-Z a few pics here and there that i took. unfortunatly i wasn't able to take my proper digi cam so i have to rely on my PDA's 640x480 res pics.here they are.
hope everyone enjoyed the cruise as much as i did. it was great to finally put a face to a lot of nicknames.look forward to the next cruise. hopefully we can get a few more people to come.[image]http://temp.tranceit.com.au/Set363_01.jpg[/image]

What did you say! TT couldn't keep up!

:x Considering that i waited for you in whitlessea for about 3minutes for you to catch up, draged your ass of the lights by a mile and you have the balls to say that. I thought you were all right but you are just another stupid P plater obviously.Good luck with your driving as the way you drive you will need it especialy when you overtook through oncoming traffik as the car in front of you started to brake and turn you are lucky you managed to stop.P.S Ill take your ass any time!

    Kinglake Cruise Pics...(DIALUP BE AFRAID!)

Everyone loves a cruise, so here are some pics of our cruise today. We all met at the Pines Shopping centre right at the end of Blackburn Rd (this place was in the sticks!). We quite nicely invaded the top floor parking area
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/4.jpg[/image][image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/5.jpg[/image]The sexiest car of all of course......
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/8.jpg[/image]I will have a 2000 spec front bar one day damn it.....
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/7.jpg[/image]Of course there's always got to be one car that hogs all the camera's attention, and today it was this purple beauty. This is Pauls car. For those who care, this car was once black. At least it was black at the last Jedi Tech day....
    [image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/1.jpg[/image][image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/3.jpg[/image]funky roll bars......
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/2.jpg[/image]Anyway, we then headed off. The destination was first Kingslake and then Whittlesea. But, for a while there this was the shortest melb zed cruise in history. There was a bit of confusion at the first set of traffic lights. Most of us improvised and managed to turn left, but we lost john and paul. Why not take some photo's while the others are figuring out what to do. Do we go back?? Do we try to find them?? Of course, no one had any bodies mobile phone number.
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/9.jpg[/image]doug's face says it all........"what the....?"
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/10.jpg[/image]We decided to head off......Dr_zx and sead sprinted off into the sunset, while the rest of us enjoyed a nice drive down the windy road. I settled into my seat, and with the help (if any) of my worn brake pads and worn, crappy Wanli slicks enjoyed the drive.
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/11.jpg[/image][image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/20.jpg[/image]We finally ended up in kinglake, and there we met up with ABODE. And thankfully we also met up with the two zeds we had lost at the start.
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/12.jpg[/image]This is us. We're a crazy mob. Except me of course.
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/13.jpg[/image]For once, the NA's werent afraid to show their private parts as we werent outnumbered as we usually are. Infact, out of the 10 or so cars, 5 of them were NA'sSince we dont have turbo's and have more room, NA owners like to clean their engine bay.BigCol

[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/15.jpg[/image]thats robs white NA in the distance. Also with a clean engine bay.
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/16.jpg[/image]Sead looking worried..."Oh my god, is that coolant on the ground?"
    [image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/17.jpg[/image]Whats the missile switch do??
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/6.jpg[/image]Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, brazilian......I've always loved the smooth, soft lines of the brazilian.........oh yeah, and the spoilerless look is alright too.
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/18.jpg[/image]Is not having a fan shroud bad??
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/19.jpg[/image]Dr_zx showing everyone why his zed makes so much noise...
    [image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/21.jpg[/image]ABODE's cool interior....
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/22.jpg[/image]and of course, the sexiest the car on the day...the JEDI mobile
[image]http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~mbiondo/23.jpg[/image]At this point some decided to go home, while most of us headed on up to whittlesea. No more pics I'm afraid, but the best roads had already been driven and once we got to whittlesea everyone just said goodbye and went home.So yeah, it was a fun cruise. Thanks to Dr_zx for organising it all. An no dude, I'm not going to drag you..:)Cheers

    You shouldnt say that.......

I have been to many cruises and most of us are very responsible and are their really to just socialise and talk about zeds. There are always some that will be somewhat "erratic" and think its a race, but you cant control or govern everyone. Just give them a wide berth and be safe. Today was a small cruise mainly because most of the "regulars" were getting ready for gilgandra. In the past, when we have had 20+ zeds on cruise I have felt completely safe. And you'll find that its not the "regulars" that do the speeding..:) Come along dude, cruises are fun..:)Cheers

    Ya shoulda come with me

I thought the cruise might end up a bit short, so instead of stopping for lunch after only being in the car for an hour or so, me and my co driver headed off to Healesville where we stopped, and took the roofs off. We then drove through the spur (bloody magnificent :YD ) and lunched at a little cafe in Marysville. Then drove over Lake Mountain and through Cumberland junction and had a cold beer at the Reefton Hotel before heading home to Mt Evelyn.
I might try and sneak in a Cletus deluxe cruise before the weather turns too foul eh?
Be warned though, it would mean an early start and a day where we mostly drive though :YD Thanks to Dr Z for getting the ball rolling though, the short stretch between Warrandyte and Kinglake is a nice little drive.
I thought Jedi meant my green thing with his caption until I read further on :`(

    if you're refering......

to the caption about the camera hog, dont stress dude, your zed is a sexy beast..:) Trouble is, we all drooled over it on the last cruise you went on so this time the "new" purple one got the attention..:) I only have so much drool....:) BUt if you're refering to the sexy beast caption, hehehhe, sorry but the JEDI mobile is the sexiest of them all. Because I say it is...:YD :YD Cheers dude.....

    BigCol That's what she said...

    Me & RobBarr...

went back to Kinglake & along the Melba hwy to the Mt Dandenong tourist drive. Was a nice end to the day.

    Blipman Beer hooves totally work

I think those sizes were spot on

hell I'd prefer even bigger but I know what dial up is like, so I think those are a fair compromise.Whoever's car that is without the fan shroud, that's BAD. The shroud does play a significant role in air being sucked through the radiator by the clutch fan.Ben

    My appologies to everybody especially

the P Platers ( as recently i was one of them).
But my pride and joy were under attack so my temperamentfull nature took over.
I should know better than lower my self and actually reply on that stupid post, as everyone on this forum knows the potential of a TT.
As i said before I APOLOGISE TO everyone except that one persone who needs a attitude adjustment.Yes i like to push my car some times but yet again my reasoning and plenty of space from the guy infront of me has kept me accident free for the last four years.Sorry guys did not mean to spoil the fun as i enjoyed my time yesterday VERY much. I was only stunned when i read the post made buy DRZ.I will try to sustain my temper in the future and keep my attitude as it used to be before.Cheer Sead
