[VIC] GOR cruise goes off with a HUGE bang and a record turnout

Oh yeah it was me alright, I was sitting there admiring the ZX's and listening to my sound system mighty loud, then all I could feel was vibrating, and this loud nouise overpowering my sound. I was wondering what the hell it was, then saw you shoot past. Bloody unreal, then I pulled up next to you at Torquay and noticed your awesome rims

Haha, yeah was a struggle for me to hold mine on with the vibrations, not to mention the struggle to hear Kingy when he was telling us where we will be going, I basically had to lip read Kingy whilst Simon was going up the road.

 

i have this u.a.s centre muffler/x-pipe sitting in the loungeroom,so i may put it on
But not before i do one more trip in the Burnley tunnel with chad again

It mightn't be a year. Have been thinking about moving it back to original mid november time-slot. Christmas to Easter really is a bad time for the GOR, and though we got really lucky with the weather, it is an absolute gamble after Easter. I figure it is usually getting warmer in November and the traffic isn't quite so bad.

 

Col you might have to worry, remember that schoolies does start around that time sort of (late november)...and it's really! busy then...i reakon early in the year, something like early-mid feb...like you did last year...or maybe even late jan...but end of year gets really busy on gor...

 

Some days are worse than others for no real reason, but on average it is far busier after Christmas. Besides schoolies are too drunk to drive too far and they don't get up til 4pm
