UHMW Rear Subframe Mounts

Hey Guys

RACESPEC has been appointed the Australia Distributor for MMR - Montgomery Machine & Racing.

They specialise in UHMW, Aluminium and Delrin Engine & Transmission Mounts and Suspension Components.

They are machined from virtually unbreakable Duravar? UHMW Polyethylene.
These mounts are much harder than polyurethane or rubber and will never wear out. These mounts will help to reduce subframe movement by securing it in place and reducing wheel hop/axle tramp at the same time.

Set includes 4 mounts.
You will need to use the standard lower subframe collars/brackets.

I have sent them the R32/R33 and R34 Items for them to look at.

I looked through the forum, and noticed how hard it was to fine replacement engine and gearbox mounts.

I will get a set of OEM items and get them sent over, so they can come up with something for us

Hey Tarek,
I need all the bushes for the back, ie diff cradle, diff all those that are in the back axel. I think there are about 8 of them in total. Can you get them and what sorta pricing I'm looking at? I'm in adelaide and I got a 2+2 tt manual.

how will this afftect the ride of the car

will it be noticably harder on the butt than standard?

- 10 x Bushes for the Upper Arms
- 4 x Bushes for the Lower Arms
- 4 x Subframe Mounts
- 2 x Diff Mounts

We can supply everything, minus the Diff Mounts at this stage

I will get a pricing.

The ride will be slightly more rigid, but it will be easier to control as it is secured in place

Do these bushes need to be pressed into the cradle or are they like pineapples?

Just waiting for the US to get back to us about the pricing on the rear setup

they are not like pineapples, where they just sit on top

These replace the entire bush, you can press them in, or a rubber mallet will do

These use the OEM...

How do these compare

to the popular after-market polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension? On par with them?

Energy suspension are much like OEM

These are solid and should never deform or need replacing. Just like the delrium and solid alloy also available.
Ride is considerably harsher and the best money you will spend on a high HP Z32 in my opinion.

mate i think alot of us would be keen 4 a complete bushings kit 4 the zed, i know mine are looking a bit old and tired
