NSW Twincam.org's Bathurst Cruise

Hey all, me and one of my best mates are co-organising this event which I have been organising for the last 4 years. And would like to extend an invitation to you guys/gals

Date: Sunday, July 13th 2008
Meet Time: 8.30am for 9:30am depart.
Meeting Point: McDonalds Windsor Corner of Windsor Rd and Groves Av. (refer map)
Destination: Mt Panorama, Bathurst.
Bring: Yourself, Travelling companion/s, Driving Tunes, Jackets/Jumpers/Warm Clothes, Full tank of fuel (There are servos nearby the meet point), CB radios, anything else you think you'll need.

On behalf of twincam.org and other forums this is advertised on I would like to say that the forum promotes and supports SAFE AND LAWFUL DRIVING. Like it or not YOU ARE REPRESENTING clubs/forums who are attending the day. This is a CRUISE NOT A RACE. Driving in a dangerous and illegal way will be doing so at your own risk, and will not be welcome. Anybody who breaches these rules will be asked to leave the group. If hooning around is your agenda DO NOT ATTEND! Last thing we need is more bad publicity as car enthusiats.

I live in Lithgow and would love to be part of this cruise from windsor to the track.
If you are keen, i also have contacts in the Soarer forum who would love to get a good group of cars to come along.

I believe Soarer Central have been informed, and have had interest from them. If u like we stop for a break at Lithgow Maccas so u can meet us there. Look for the Silver R33 4 Door, that'll be me.

 

Sounds great

This sounds good to me.
Itll be good to get all the cars to do a lap of Main street lithgow.
I know my kids would love to see this as unfortunatly i have only a two seater and 5 kids.

I am also sure if all agree that the Mountain cruisers of Lithgow would like to join in from Lithgow Maccas.
They drive mainly old school vehicles but are a good bunch of people who love to cruise.

by all means inform them, trying to make this the biggest one ive organised, its my way of trying to bring car enthusiats together no matter what car they drive.

 

zig zag railway

what r your feelings of meeting up with us at the zig zag railway before going down the mountain into lithgow and cruising through main street to the great western highway?

 

last count we had about 50 cars confirming attendance, dunno if that many cars will fit at zig zag railway carpark? better than lithgow maccas i suppose?

TRUE. There would be a lot more space at zig zag compared to maccas. Let me know if this is confirmed.

more 300z????

guys we need more 300z's!!! the cruise to bathurst will be awesome but we need more 300's theres too many lil corolla n other lil POS hahaha . im definatley in for it n my mate has an alfa that he wants to cruise up in aswell. it would jus be good to see more 300's, at least around 20+ of us would be great:zlove:

 

zig zag = dirty cars?

The carpark at zig zag is dirt well was the last time i when riding and in the
4wd up there! all the cars will get dirty

I couldnt tell you if it was dirt or not. sorry.
The maccas carpark is definatly too small.

A BBQ will be run this year, attached is the email i got from my mate organising the bbq


i ordered 10kg of sausages from my butcher and he gave me a discount so cut you guys some slack i will only charge $2.50 for a sausage on 2 bits of bread.
and cans $1
and i will also be makeing 100 bite sized cakes..



they will be .50c

dont know if i should bring the 300 or the supra ?
