    Hi all,

    Just a quick question.

Is it possible to install a gauge cluster out of a turbo 300zx into a non-turbo and will it cause any issues?

    Thanks

Yep can confirm it's fine, I've got a mines TT cluster in mine. Just need to watch out for the wiring connectors as they change, a later model cluster won't fit in an earlier model car, etc.

A company in Brisbane fitted mine. They must have adapted the different connector. The boost guage doesn't work, wondering if that could be adapted to a volt meter?
My fuel guage is a bit lazy. 3/4 full on guage is a full tank.

The obverse off this, can a non TT gauge cluster fit a TT?

I would expect so. You can mix and match individual gauges within the clusters too. I swapped a early 260kpg aus spec speedo into a S2/S3 cluster with no problems.

You know that later model TT had guage clusters that looked like the Non Turbo. The boost guage was deleted. ..

Yes I did know that, but the connections wouldn't match the early gauge clusters.

When you know you have a full tank, lever the needle off with a fork and put it back pointing at the top notch or even just above it slightly.
It's a bit of trial and error because when you run the fuel down you'll have to see where the needle sits and be mindful of when the fuel light comes on.

Or you have an issue with your in tank sender.

This is probably it. I can't remember if I swapped the guage in cluster out on this car or another.
