Price apart, it looks to be a very well maintained unit. What amazes me is that these vehicles keep popping out of the woodwork.
I agree Baz, the interior is smick as. Hmmm might have too steal it and transfer over his interior for mine lol lol
Someone (not on this forum) might appreciate it for that money. I was prepared to pay $30K for a red Zed many many years ago and I suspect it would not have been a quarter of the car that this might be. I know that these cars can be modded with high spec parts and have almost everything replaced with new. Receipts receipts receipts. Photos photos photos. Unless you know what you are doing or know who was doing the work on the car, it is still up to the guy who is willing to pay for it. Might be that the only way that a high spec Zed can achieve its real value is to have a fully documented photo and VIDEO history. Is that unreasonable?
" ITS THE PROPPER THING 300KM/H AND DOES IT. " Hmmm maybe the speedo says it does, but me thinks the " Propper " is when it's PROPPED up on the hoist .
I understand people pay good money for a good z. I myself paid only last year just under 20k to import the right car. This car however is not worth close to half of what they are asking.
In a world where enough people appreciated the Z32 for the masterpeiece that it is it would command that sort of money. In the current market that exists now it doesn't. There are too many cars with similar mods less than half that. One day it will be worth that though but a few more have to disappear from the road before that happens (and they are disappearing at a steady pace - just bought some parts from a parts car myself today). Though personally I'd rather see as many as possible staying on the road. The other day I was watching a classic car restoration show and they were restoring a 1960s combi van (I was bored and there wasn't much else on). They ended up paying over 4K pounds (8K Aus) for a 1960s van which was heavily rusted throughout the body and interior needed to be scrapped but motor still went - just. Yet fully restored its value was estimated at 21K pounds (40K Aus). If that's what being rare can do a van that looks and handles like a pig, you better believe it will also happen to the Z32 one day. In the mean time second hand Z32 parts (and cars) are dirt cheap and still in reasonable supply. That won't always be the case I suspect. Law of supply and demand basically. When supply outstrips demand prices are low and vice versa.
