sad news everyone, due to work, the time to sell the zed has come all too soon, and most of you can imagine, i am spewin, but it has to go quickly, i was thinkin, if i took it to a dealer, how much am i expected to get for it. It's a mint zed twin turbo, targa, 2 seater, with low kays, and its farely stock, and has never been boosted.

I hope it goesz to a good home :(:(

    cheers

i don't know what i'm gonna go for, i actually intended on sticking with the zed, but now work commitments have come up, and thats why i am selling.

so, i don't want the beast to just sit around in the weather waiting to be sold, i wanna sell it quick, so i was wondering what a dealer would offer me.

    any suggestion at all.

    cheers

    very little

and no where near what she is worth.

with so many Zeds brought in at the end of the 15 year rule, there is an over supply at the moment.

I'd say you'd be lucky to get more then 5-6k from a car yard.

I know this is NOT what you want to hear, but .....

there is a glut of 300ZX's out there .... probably enough to affect prices for 2-3 years, possibly more. It's a buyers market. You will not get close to what it is worth unless it is pretty unusual, and even then, only close. Sorry to be morose, but I think the real bargain hunters will buy at the beginning of 06, once all of the imports have been imported and the supply is at its maximum.

I own 2 Zeds, so I definitely don't have a vested interest. I plan on keeping mine.

    Just My Opinion.

As for price - I dunno what you could get and I don't want to guess. I've seen some really nice Zeds recently advertised on this site that I've thought were good value for money but haven't attracted much attention so maybe my Value For Money ratio needs to be adjusted.

    cheers,

    Peter
