WA Tech Day- Sunday 31st May

K guys/gals- since there seems to be enough interest ill make it official and say its going ahead

Details:
Sunday 31st May
From 11am-> whenever we have finished/had enough
Those who dont know where i live or have forgotten ill pm closer to the date

Bring your parts and stuff that you want to put on
My other half and bub will be around on the day so if you bring your partners/kids they wont be too bored.
Drinks all day BBq some time during the day

So far we have:
Rovlive-Speedo & blue lights, dash hood?
Vader- Ignition light rings things
Awegazm- Ignition light ring things
Robbozz- Rear springs
LazyZed- "couple things"

 

Speedo only.. I am doing the dash thingy this weekend.

What's that ignition ring thingy? light we talking about? since I have to pull my dash apart might as well do that on mine too. Do i need to buy any parts for that bulb?

Am trying to get Kabir to come down aswell so we can do his camber arms, I will be bringing my compressor and all the gear to do the camber arms up, will also be bring my too chest so there will be plenty of tools available for the day. Andy

 

i am not sure of parts, dave (vader) has researched this...
its the ring of light around the keyhole/ignition

 

ill pop down assuming i dont get called in to work or forget lol *sets reminder*

 

When you turn your lights on, the ring around the ignition lock should light up.

I didn't think mine did, till I had another look tonight.

It's weird though - it lights up only when you have the lights on. Wacky. It should light up all the time. Well that's what I think anyway.

 

I may have to adjust my idle again. Aldo don't know about the dash kit yet. I ordered a blue kit, I'll see how rov goes.

 

so no one knows how to do this?? I saw AK doing it on tech day on miksta 's car. Ross??

i know the theory behind how to do it, and im confident i could but i really wouldnt want to risk my first try on someone elses car.....

the kit includes instructions on how to do it, not rocket science just fiddly by the looks of it....

ones just waitin on small parts and the other is waitin on new engine to come in

 

I'll try and come, Is it too big a job to tighten a fan belt? No idea how hard it is to access. Also have a GReddy profec b-spec II to install... if thats a simple job.

i'll bring along a carton?

 

tighten a fan belt, 5 minutes, worst case....turn up and ill show you how to do it for next time it loosens of ok........

 

I think my car needs more attention than previously advised
