Well I won't be able to make it

Got a heap of stuff to do here before the wedding Stupid sister, she never did anything useful for me

How cool has it been out there lately Uncle Karl? just wondering the ideal stuff to pack for lil turt.... do we chuck in a trackydack suit? we're just bringing doonas etc unless we score sleeping bags with the tent. And i'll make sure we got the pegs too Uncle Pex.

 

I'm more worried about how hot it gets. How is it out there Karl?

 

Days have been very nice, gets up to around 33, but it's a comfortable dry heat.

Night goes down to about 16 so doonas will be fine and a flanny good for the early morning.

 

That's not too bad, I was expecting it to be more than 33..

 

Just a reminder to everyone.

If you have UHF's, bring them! They come in VERY handy on these cruiZes. Don't forget we broadcast on channel 10

 

If anyone needs a spare UHF just bring 3xAA batteries and hit me up.

 

And for those coming and dont have one. PEX is doing another GB on the in car systems.. Clicky! and if you get in and pay by today we should get them before the weekend.

 

And are you planning on installing them by the weekend also?? (it's a bit of a fiddly job )

 

Yeah, have the day off on friday .. we have to take gunmetals car to get the alarm installed first thing.. then head back to mine to hopfully install the CB, and then if gunmetal gets his we will do his after we get the car back..

 

I'll have one spare UHF and 2 if I get my big one installed in time.

 

Lol! No! My sister is and we are doing it at my place... So I have to help get everything ready

Lil Turt is counting down how many days left til the sleepover....she's getting excited to see everyone.....

 

whos got everything ready now? I have my new radio in and working (thanks greg) my chair, sleeping bag and my esky.. but no beers yet.. have to work on that situation..

 

Yep, i'm all ready too. Even did a practice run with my new tent in my living room last night to make sure it assembles properly.
Got my ever-famous portable esky/fridge on wheels all cleaned and ready for lots of beers and lots of ice to go in it.
Cleaned the Zed, got the UHF's charged, got my Zed shirts, Zed hat, Zed badge and Zed business cards all ready to go too
