NSW Sydney "Cruise for a Cause" fundraising Cruise, Sunday 3rd March

    Hi Arvin, the participation fee is covering all food costs rather than charging per item. So if you would like to throw some chicken in to the cause that would be great! Mikey555 and Jamie are on food duty so if you can coordinate with them that would be very much appreciated :)

    Change in previously discussed "Fee"

    Alright guys, after discussion with both Rob and Mikey we've all decided to wave the obligatory $50 "fee". We don't want people to miss out due to the fact that they may not be able to afford $50 on top of the park admission fees, petrol and any other costs involved.

    So we've come to the decision that there won't be any "Fee" and just change it to a donation of your choice.

    It doesn't matter how much you donate, we just want the most amount of people we can.

    Also lunch will be provided by myself and Jamie, as that will be our donation for the day

    So bring as many people as you can and get together for a good cause

    Also are people able to start giving 100% confirmation on wether they are coming or not? Or if you are unable to make it can you please state so ASAP. Just trying to work out quantities and what not.

    Tah Jamie.

    My thinking behind the cruise fee was to set a "one off" price for everyone that covers food, park every and a donation. Break it down and by the time you take out the $10 you'd normally spend on lunch and the $11 for the park and it meant we were kicking in $29 each to the fund.

    Anyway it seems some found the price a little off putting and we were at risk of losing some participants. So here's the deal

    The cruise will be FREE
    The park will still be $11
    Lunch will still be put in but will be FREE
    Maps will be FREE

    Donations, as little or as much as you can afford, will be collected at lunch. I'd still like to think we can manage to raise $1k but hopefully "relaxing" things will encourage more participation :)

    Guys the National Park have asked me to let them know if numbers are expected to exceed 40 people.

    Going off the latest list it looks like we are expecting some 31 cars. So question is who is bringing passengers? Friends/partners/etc

    Can you let me know?

    We are all meeting at the Shell service station at kariong at 7.45am and are departing by 8am to ensure that we're at berowra at 8.45am to meet Rob.

    We will be leaving at 8am so anybody who is late will have to make their own way to the cruise.
