Can I ask what the point of that is?
All it would do is bottle neck the system if you keep the middle stock.

Yeah I ran one for ages on my manual NA, I loved it. Just cat back though. Your kidding if you think you'll have the veilside & headers for $800-900, you'll spend more than that just for a veilside cat back. My abflug now is louder again, its border line but I still love it!

as if you'd keep the middle stock... I'd just not run a veilside mid if it's too drony. I'm more after the sound than anything. It's not like i'll be buying one tomorrow either - whilst i have my eyes on the auctions there are more pressing things that need money/attention than the exhaust especially since it has a brand new catback on it already, do need new tips though... peashooters sound like shit.

    Whoops, my bad.
I read it as you were ONLY upgrading the extractors and catback

Done nice job there. Concept cars are not put into production directly since they are frequently designed to boast what a car manufacturer can do. Looking simple but nice work. Especially wheels, like it.

Righto so a little update. I've been sick and busy with work lately but i finally felt good enough to be out of bed today so i figured i'd get some work done on the car since i wasn't in the all clear to go to work...

First up, ditch the spoiler.. It was all spongy, leaking water into the boot, lifting in the corners, paint was cracked on it.... It was just time to go..

Pulled it off and found this...

At first i was horrified however i cleaned it up bit by bit and slowly calmed down... no rust! YAY!!! [TIS] Just old glue.

Next up was the ADM Rear Bumper... I've had a JDM bar for a little while now but just haven't had the time to fit it up. Excuse the shitty photos, was in a rush and wasn't feeling 100% so...

Out with the old and in with the new!

It's a bit beat up and needs repainting as its obviously seen some carnage (its from the old a2Zed) so i'll be getting some pressure packs paint matched to various parts of the body to fix a few bad spots sometime VERY soon.

Next up.. Stereo gear! I blew up the dodgy front speakers within 2 weeks and the rattle from the blown voice coils started to annoy me so much i unplugged them and only the rockfords on my rear deck were working so i picked up a pair of pioneer professional splits for $179 and decided to throw them in (excuse REALLY dodgy photo #2).

Last but not least, my cigarette lighter socket had stopped working, and the blue trim piece in the centre was starting to erk me. So i dug through my pile of spares and found a black/grey one. YES it has a H pattern on it... Doesn't matter since i'll be throwing the manual box in VERY soon. So yeah i changed the trim piece to match and fixxed my lighter socket all at the same time.

In other news i have chosen not to go with the Weds Kranze and instead i have gotten ahold of a set of R33 GT-R wheels fairly cheaply Which will be on the car before the weekend. I still have a bunch of things to fit to the car as i have the time, Possibly tomorrow or on the weekend. But thats all i have for now. I haven't forgotten about people who want copies of the spoiler, I haven't had the time to organise it just yet, its attached in a very easily reversed manner.

Anywhos thats all i have for now.

haha not to worry. It's VERY easy to remove without breaking it. I'm unable to get it sorted for a few weeks due to having work, then an adelaide trip planned. Basically all i need to do is run a hacksaw blade underneath the gap (yes i made sure there was a 1.5mm gap) and gently saw through the 6 little dabs of adhesive and undo the 2 bolts holding it on. I tested it, takes 5 minutes.

    Small little update again!

So my brakes have been giving me indication of being warped for a little while now and i've been too busy or too sick to find the time or energy to fit them. Feeling great on friday so i fit them up (they're the old brakes from my Twin Turbo). I rebuilt the calipers a little while back so i figured it would be a perfect and easy swap.

Whilst i had everything apart i figured it would be a great time to chuck in the bilstein shocks and springs that i had laying around. +10 JDM points for that extra low ride height....

And then to top it off i chucked on the R33 GT-R wheels that i bought recently. Really finished it off well in my opinion, enjoying the look ALOT.

And then i washed, waxxed, polished and claybar'd it, filled the tank and went for a drive...

Your neighbours must love you, working on your car in an apartment block carpark lol. Zed looks good now but can't say I'm a huge fan of the wheels, maybe its because the tyres look too small. Are you running smaller than stock diameter?

Oh and please get a mod to change the title to 300zx it's been really bugging me for ages now.
