Well it's good to know Mike built the engine right. I also like the sound of your confidence. Good luck with it.
Yeah , doent look like there is nothing wrong with the build just could have been a bit cleaner during assembly. Oh and keep the sanding dust away from engine parts.:bash:
Awesome news! glad your hopeful for a full recovery. Sounds like you really know your stuff mate. You could be the next Zed specialist in Brissie now after AMEC!
Yep very good to hear At the stage now where I was sick of looking at the POS and prepared to let somebody else \'just make it happen\' I beleive it to be in very good hands Very hopefull of having a healthy running zed very soon WOOT!
Thanks Eric - really appreciate your help with this... frustration is easing.. Strange about the white dust though, only sanding the trims and garage door is always closed due to little escape artist... and it's not like Mike has done any work inside the house Mrs Magic
I will be pulling the cams and checking the lifters on the weekend. If they look good, then the head is coming off to check the restrictors in the deck. Engine has very low oil flow to the r/h head, lifters are very noisy in that bank. Will post over the weekend with findings.
If you listen to the video from the first start, it sounded the same when I got it. Also you can hear someone in the back ground ask "Is that all 6".
WAY TO GO!!! Good to hear brisbane southside has a serious mechanical go-to place!!! DISCLAIMER: Apologies to any other southside zed related workshops I don't know about lately...and Rolin who's northside of course!
