I have one of these and just letting you all know,

that the underside bonnet insulation will have to be removed to close to the bonnet.Other than that its definately a very strong and well made strut brace that looks and works great.

    Can anyone else confirm this?

I'm sure I've seen other zeds with these installed and the underbonnet stuff still there... I was always of the opinion that removing that stuff (insulation???) was not allowed.

    I had the same issue

I also had clearance issues, but I didn't remove the insulation. Instead I ground down a few mm from the top of the mount that was rubbing. Its the bit where the brace bolts to the bracket, you can see in the picture the front mount is higher. The centre of the brace does rub the insulation but very lightly, I didn't see this as a concern.

I also went to the extreme of relocating the fuel lines as the brace sat very close and appeared to touch with engine movement, but i know others did not need to do this.

Theres very little clearance under these bonnets, i'm sure its hard to get a brace thats 100% perfect. All I have seen so far need some kind of modification and others can be 2-3 times the price.

If my eyes aren't cheating me I'd say your brace is on

the opposite way to the sale piccy's. Perhaps that is why it hits.
