I think it's silly! I've seen it done to a 350Z, apparently because the parts are cheap from when the break them drifting. Why would you want to put in an engine with 1L less capacity, 1 less turbo and it's not even a 'proper' twin cam head design!
It'd bew a pig to drive though, stick a 2J in, now that would be different and very cool. Completely drivable, bullitproof internals, around the same price as the SR. Perfect!
sr20 is a great engine, purely because its ability to comply with pretty much any engine space... but if you got the room, there is heaps of better options, i would never stick one in a zed... no way no how. 1jz/2jz/rb26 hell yeah, small v8 maybe, no way a pissy 4cyl haha. there is a few 180sx's with 1jz's in them, shit over all the sr20 sils/180s if your thinkin about a sr20 your in the wrong league mate, may wanna downgrade your car a little

Not enough torque would be your biggest killer, aswell as massive expense for essentially downgrading the engine, stupid idea if you ask me, what wrong with the good ol vg anyway?:zlove:
