If an effort to de rice I have been thinking about getting an oem steering wheel I require series 1 non cruise,

    Are 180sx horn pads interchangeable?
Can I just use the whole 180sx series one leather wheel? they look the same from pics. minus z badge.

I would be surprised if they didn't as quite a Number of models share steering wheel designs. All the different Nissan Steering wheels I've bought have the same spline. The only differences is depth= shallow in the 80s, then=deep from 90s and then different horn/indicator/lights connection method of 2000+ models. My 88 Z31 runs 350Z steering wheel, I just had to fab up horn contact patch and indicator canceller.
Z32s are running Xtrail/Dualis steering wheels. (same mod needed as 350Z wheel)
N13 Pulsar running S14 steering wheel (just deeper if I recall)
84 Z31 running a pre airbag 90s Maxima wheel. (just steering wheel style difference)

Remember theres a difference between hicas and non hicas wheels. As for hornpads when i get a chance ill dig them out from storage and confirm.

Not 100% with 180 stuff but the wheel I posted above reads super hicas on the horn button, mabey the hicas models got the z32 wheel. Yeah if you have some to cross reference no rush - cheers

I managed to find an absolutely perfect condition S13 leather steering wheel the same as above/same as an early Z32, I also have a less nice Z32 wheel so have compared them closely.

I can confirm that they are exactly the same part, aside from the back plastic piece (swaps over with a couple of screws) and the badge logo.
So to clarify, main steel frame and leather part is exactly the same, and horn pad is exactly the same - which are the important parts.
Just swap the back plastic bit and logo badge to suit your application
