Whats with the two different types of screws though?

Ahhhh I supplied exactly what was in the SARD kit.

I think the countersunk screws are cause when you fit the collars, The injector cap is now the collar thickness higher. I think there is a clearance issue to the plenum if you use 2 cap heads or the similar ones they supply.

I havent fitted these up so I am not sure. I figured if I supplied exactly what they did in the kits it should be correct.

Let me know how you go.

    Before calling companies "bastards"

you may (or may not) want to inform the people of the pricing constraints that Greenline had for not supplying at discount for your set (or anybody elses set) detailed in email correspondence.

These particular injectors have been at the current special pricing prior to Tektrader's initial inquiry to Greenline.

First off, who are you to pick on me? I have no idea who you are and neither does anyone else based on yiur aus300 log on.(Though I suspect I know)

Secondly, Greenline have sold approx 20 or more sets of these injectors with a total order value of over $12,000. I have sold 28 sets of collars. So if you havent seen orders yet you will. This is soley cause I made it affordable by making these parts.

Are you telling me that was worth nothing to Greenline?? WRONG!!

I have no idea what Greenlines margins are and to be quite honest I dont care. They dictate their pricing not me.

It is irrelevant when or why Greenline set the price as they did. For your information. The start of this injector exploration was to supply NISMO 555's Not SARD's.

Your critism is ill informed and based only on what you saw in this thread. Not the three previous threads dealing with a special buy for injectors over the past 6 or more months.

Greenline did in fact give me a better price than the web price but only if I bought all of these in one delivery in which case GST would have been payable. The whole $2 each discount and more would have been eaten in local tax.

Also I didnt want to wash all that money through my bank account.

As it stands, Greenline made extra despite the fact they still sold the quantity of injectors I exquired about.

If someone made it possible for me to sell $12,000 worth of parts I would have made a point of looking after them. I dont think that is an unreasonable expectation. Greenline wouldnt even post mine for free. Thats extremely CHEAP on their part IMHO.

As it is, I have a nice set of collars here waiting till I can afford Injectors.

    Thanks for that. NOT

Would you like me to post up your emails for everyone to see? Are you are in fact someone who represents Greenline?

Who are you again?? If you are Greenline Australia. I suggest you not hide. Create a Greenline log on so we know who you are, just as Cresta has. Get involved in the forum and the business for sale section and cut us some deals.

You may make EVEN MORE money from people here! Till then I suggest you get some perspective on where your sales have come from and why.

Never bite the hand that feeds you.

    I second that Graham!!
Personally i probabaly would'nt have my injectors yet if i had to pay top dollar for collars.

    Apologies...

for not introducing myself formally. JZX has been my screen name since before Greenline days. I am Jason and represent Greenline Australia.

For personal and logistical reasons, I chose not to push Greenline within this community - never have. Sales and money is something, but not everything.

The intentions of the last post were not as critisim of you or your opinion of the situation but only of that one comment that was made. I hoped that you do not take it as a "bite". As far as I am concerned you have done nothing wrong by us but neither have we of you - but then to be called "bastards" publicly was a little hard to stomach. Which is why I asked that maybe you could explain a little further to clarify the situation.

My opinion was formed based only on the correspondence between Greenline and yourself. Due to our privacy policies, we do not just go around showing the world the correspondence. With your permission, we would like explain our view based on details within those emails. There is nothing incriminating against you but a lack of information provided to us and therefore we were unable to act to forward on further discount.

It was not until yesterday (finally getting a look at the new forums) that I came across this activity of manufacturing collars in Australia.

Not out to start a fight as I think there is nothing much to start a fight about. There is not much that can be done to change your view of Greenline as "bastards" and "CHEAP" as it is an expectation standard issue which is different with with each individual and something I can understand.

Again no hard feelings against you personally.

    Jason.

Jason, people here see parts suppliers as partners. Without either side, business would not exist.

I dont know the reason that you wont use Greenline as a logon.(or at least make it very obvious who you are) In fact I think people would appreciate the fact that they have a direct line to a reseller such as yourself. I would personally hope you reconsider your stance on this.

To have vendor partners for people who organize Group buys is a huge advantange for both sides. I will buy from people I have a relationship with everytime before I buy from a stranger.

You need to make yourself known amonst the zed community.

The term "bastard" has a number of uses. In the context of the post in this thread. It was used in an Aussie slag type manner. And wasnt meant to be an opinion on Greenlines or your parentage. :)

I personally dont have a good or bad opinion of the company as we havent managed to do any business yet, besides the one collar you sold me.

I do however still recon you where being cheap though considering the substancial business that flowed from this GB!!

I request you enlarge your profile here and get involved in the forum on a less hap hazard basis. You are a good contact and we all want to use you as a parts source.

If you are up to it. I would be happy to work on further GB's with Greenline for our mutual benefit.

Yep seconded. I'm looking at buying some injectors and possibly a sard regulator from greenline or similar, it would be great to have someone on the forum to interact with in that regard. It looks like CRESTA have done pretty well out of john's involvement in the forum, couldn't hurt greenline to give it a go.
