We are breeding a world of illiterate, text spelling (sms) fools.
Shortly the criteria for obtaining a job will be to write a sentence in a piece of paper with a pen that someone can actually read.
Even the spell check app must be doing a face palm.

    U no wot I meen?

Yeah it's pretty concerning. I would hate to actually be someone inquiring about this vehicle. I get angry just reading the ad, let alone being face to face with the person. The ad gives you a really good scope as to what you're expecting....face palm....

It also reminds me of all the tool bags that chat to my missus about the wrx. Stupid comments like "does it go hard", "do you drop the clutch". Is funny the first time, but the more it happens it just becomes a concern for regular humanity... Lol.

" ... Shortly the criteria for obtaining a job will be to write a sentence in a piece of paper with a pen that someone can actually read .... "

.... and, of course, that would then be a singular, "the criterion".

    He is correct.
    I used the wrong syntax.
I should have used criterion as I was referring to a single piece of paper or single action
    I have learned something else.
    Thank you Black baz.

    excerpt for the dictionary:
"Although criteria is sometimes used as a singular, esp. in speech, it is most often used as a plural in Standard English"

The term criteria is becoming accepted as both a singular and plural in English standards.

HOW ABOUT THIS ONE, THEN .. ??? "... to write a sentence IN a piece of paper ... "

My point ... ??? simply that I recall reading something about Glass Houses ....

Have you ever tried to take the writing out once it is ON the paper?
It becomes embedded to the medium.
The ink does not stay separated from the paper it leaches in.

The "in" was a finger miss hit on the keyboard.

Glass houses? I thought there were none left after all the hail storms you guys have been suffering from.

I simply acknowledged that you were correct on the mistake I made in the grammar.
Seeing as the other's were making fun of the word you put forward.
I agreed and quantified why you put forward the correct word I should have used.
That way the others have also learned the correct use of the word.
