I have been away for 2 weeks.. start it..runs like sh**t. no backfireing just week and the engine shakes. Anyway, I disconnected the drivers side ignition coil plugs..still the same , no worse! It seems to run on 3 cylinders only!!
tomorrow I'll check for sparks, could be the PTU 1 giving up the ghost.
I had the timing belt done 4 weeks ago and the engine ran really well...
Next I will check the compression
A broken pin at the camshaft? Possible
Blocked air intake? I dont think so

    Fun and games....

I had a look at some posts mentioning the same problem..
Anybody who had the same trouble and sloved it?
    Some input would be apreciated

Very high chance its a PTU, i've got a spare working one you can have for $30 if you want

for 3 cylinders all to be down id say its cam timing, broken pin being a common cause.

take the timing belt cover off, the plate on the front of the VCT gear, then remove the 19mm head bolt, have a look and u should see the pin, or take a pic of what you see.

Yeah thanks, first I check the PTU, next the cam...I am not happy but it has to be done.
    I ordered a new PTU 2 from Caz...but thanks for the offer..appreciated!
