I love the Hertz gear as well. I have some HSK 165 splits in the front of the zed and they sound great. I also have a 15" Hertz spl sub that's been in my cupboard for a few years but it sounds amazing you would never guess it's a 15. I Plan on making it into a home cinema sub.
Ive got dsk 165 splits in the front and ecx165.5 in the rear. Ended up buying my amp today. decided on a 5 channel, which saves me money in the long run instead of buying a second amp for the speakers got it at almost half price so I'm pretty happy Pheonix gold 1300w 75w x4 and 1x600w
Well my custom box plans fell to bits (literally) , will start again in the coming months. Made a tempory square box for the mean time.. Made my czp order finally, Nissan OEM 300ZX Lighting and Wiper, A/C Pod Screw Z32 (4) Nissan OEM 300ZX Clip - Glove Box Finisher 90-93 Z32 (4) Nissan OEM 300ZX Dome Light Lens Z32 (1) Nissan OEM 300ZX Pod Bracket - Climate/Wiper Control - Z32 RHD (1) Nissan OEM 300ZX Pod Bracket - Lighting Switch - Z32 RHD (1) Nissan OEM 300ZX Rear Speaker Grille Set (L&R) Z32 Black (Charcoal) Bose (1) Also looking at getting a set of extractors, then making up new front pipes with high flow cats. Still cant figure out why my cruise control isn't working, changed over most parts so the next idea is that a wire is broken or loose somewhere along the line, and boy that's going to be fun. Next update will all be about my stereo install minus the custom sub box :zlove:
Every time you buy little things OEM brand new I get more and more aroused. What's up with the cruise control? I fixed mine once so I feel like a pro, but you probably know more about it than I do.
Hahaha not much more OEM stuff I want.. Cruise Doesnt engage. It turns on then wont set if that makes sense..
I see. With mine the lights would come on but nothing would happen. The rubbery tube that joins the two components in the engine bay wasn't connected to anything

Modified LHD, brand is Megan Racing...been on my zed for quite a few years now. RHD specific extractors are quite rare & when they do come up they are pricey, so it was a lot smarter option for me to use LHD extractors rather than wait for a set to come up the was RHD & priced decent Abraham
If its just the buttons on the steering wheel not working the brushes on the contact plate might need a clean / adjust. That's what fixed my CC. Had same symptoms as you
Still no cruise, given up for now. Got my new parts from czp, new pod holders, rear speaker grilles and it's looking good! Anyway in other news, 2k bar is on its way and twinz lip has been organised for chrissy, will get it all painted at the same time, side skirts, rear bar, front bar, lip, and fix up the paint issue on the passenge rear Quarter panel and fuel Filler cap excitin. Times. Ahead

So its been a while since the last update, plenty of stuff has been stared but not finished! So I had the stereo finished, with a tempory sub box until i could get a corner box. Then the amp decided to get stuck in protection mode. has been with the manufacture for repairs for nearly two weeks now, so im not sure whats going on there. Also have now collected all the body parts i wanted, and almost all ready for paint. 2k front twin z lip type 1 twin z nose panel type 1 twin z roof wing twin z rear bar Super Ganador mirrors Greddy side skirts New coilovers and dual intake kit are on the way aswell So thats whats happening, heres some pictures of how the zed sits at the moment.
