R33K's purple people eater engine pull, pizza and piss-up All done in typical Zedder fashion: Aza on his back (the way he likes it), BoneZ on top with everyone watching :biggrin: Plenty of willing hands and a bit of massaging of the remaining front body parts (not too much left intact) made engine and gearbox removal quite easy. Pizza was great, thanks Richard, and I'm sure the beers are still flowing Great to see some new faces and the usual old ones again. Also thanks to all who purchased Zed merchandise to help fund our Forum.
Nice work boys... Hey r33k, I know you were hesitant about post pics of the purples demise, but now that the grieving has taken place, and you have a new pride and joy... could you post some up? It is a good way to warn/illustrate to others how quickly things can go wrong.
not a bad day. all in all, it was a pretty good day. i think aza might say different, but he was under the car for most of it. thanks for the pizza and pod housing reek

Well we all knew there was something weird with him Very pretty blue though Was a good day, engine came out suprisingly easily. Not having half the front of the car might have helped
Yes thanks chris, i removed the front of the car back in may with a view to making this tech day in november easier for us all :bash: Thanks again guys, especially our team leader Aza who seemed to spend most of the day on his back I loved his comments regarding pulling the TT engine " how do i get those bolts etc?" It all seemed too hard at 1st for NA boy but with guidance from our TT majority things seemed to go really smoothly, even with the front end horribly bent. It wasn't long before the buzzards, 'bald eagle' and vultures were circling over the dead carcass of my zed hoping to grab a nibble before the hyenas got in to finish it off (lol) I'll be parting her out now... time to empty my inbox i guess? If any of the boys who helped out are interested in parts, you are 1st in line and i'll see what arrangement we can come to Another great SE QLD event! EDIT: WHERE WAS OUR TOPLESS BARMAID? mmm first TT engine pull yes i was on my back like usual but someone has to have a nap under the car and now and again undo a bolt or try and get a starter motor off till you realise that there is some stupid thing/s in the way of getting it off and to get to other bolts silly things if you ask me motor and gearbox i have to say id would only ever do like this with half the front missing. now where should i post some pretty blue pics tomorow when i take some here or in another thread lol
I think that would be in 'non zed related' It's a pity we don't have a 'turbo' part of our forum, i think you'd feel like you fitted in a bit more. It's pissing it down. Who's up for drinks in the valley tonight?

sorry couldn't make it I'm sure I could have learned a lot. I was at home all day trying to work out whats wrong with Dom's car. Also if I came I would know what AZA's car is, the suspense is killing me. AZA, are you getting rid of the other blue bubble...don't tell me thats what you put the turbo on?

How did K-zed manage to keep his white shirt clean???!! I've tried for years to do that and i can almost guarantee it gets dirty within the first half hour lol
