    Hi Guys.
Has anyone used a quick release steering wheel hub, if so, what brand?
Am I right in saying that I would also need a boss kit to suit?
    Thanks
    Col

I had a track Z with one, the quick release head was welded onto the steering shaft and it worked quite well. You can do it with a boss kit but the steering wheel is going to end up sticking out 3-4 inches more than stock, wouldnt leave alot of elbow room

    Hi Mate.
Yeah i have been looking at the weld on ones and i think that they might be the go.
I actually did not realise that they existed.
Actually went to buy a Wilwood one of the VPW website yesterday, but are out of stock.
    Cheers

Member MikeZ32 has fitted one, he's listed the info in this thread clicky

Unfortunately all the photos are gone but essentially HKB boss kit (he lists part numbers) & NRG quick release.

I’ve got a works bell hub with a WB rapfix II quick release. Not cheap but quality is good.
