*** Still got the half price rears deal! ***

    - Front and rear HPX pads for $131 delivered.
    - Front and rear A1RM pads for $191 delivered.

Quick run down on the pads:
    - The HPX is a Bendix Ultimate type performance pad, good for about 550 degrees, whilst being virtually dust free, and low rotor wear. Normal Price $79 per axle set.

    - The A1RM is a Ferodo DS2500 type performance pad, good for about 780 degrees, but will still work from dead cold (A1RM and HPX have the same cold friction), and relatively low dust and rotor wear. I run the A1RM in both my daily road car and rally car and it isn't a compromise in either. Normal Price $119 per axle set.

    Greg

    Yeah, still on backorder... :(

We've taken a different path with these in a bid to improve quality of the pad. We're now sourcing backing plates from an actual pad manufacturer overseas, and then sending them to QFM, as apposed to getting the backing plates here laser cut. We found that it's difficult to get the pads exactly as needed, and this will overcome some of the small dramas we've had with the Brembo pads (nothing major, just having to file out the top holes a little etc.).

It's this dealing with an oversears supplier that's taking it's time. When it is all finally done, the combination of quality and price will be worth it... I promise!

*** HALF PRICE REARS DEAL FINISHES AT THE END OF MARCH!!! ***

Get in now to take advantage of the last week of our half price rears deal!

    - Front and rear HPX $131 delivered!
    - Front and rear A1RM $191 delivered!
    - Front A1RM and rear HPX $171 delivered!

List price on the HPX is $99, (but our regular sale price is $79), and list price on the A1RM is $149, (but our regular sale price is $119). So order now to take advantage of the half price rears deal on what was already undoubtedly the best value brake pads around!!!

Starting 1st of April, we still still be selling HPX and A1RM at the discounted $79 and $119, and offering free shipping on front and rear when purchased together, but there will be no more half price rears deal...

Any questions or dramas, just let me know, or give us a bell on 1300 884 836!

    Regards,
    Greg

Regarding the squeal at crawling speeds, I get that pretty badly sometimes with my A1RMs and other times not at all. Is there anything that can be done about this? Have I possibly not done something right installing or bedding them in?

Other than that I am very happy with them, yet to put them on the track but
for normal road driving they have been great and I have no doubt they will continue to be that way on the track.

Not really, you can try with and without the OEM shims, but the 4 pot Nissan calipers are notorious for squeel, the only ones that don't seem to suffer it are the S14/S15, which I think from memory are cast iron, not alloy like the R33 and 300ZX ones... don't quote me on that cause I'm not 100%...

Those that have had dramas with nois have said that after a very heavy session or track day they've come good, for what ever reason we're not sure. The DB1170 in A1RM is by far and way our biggest selling pad as it fits S14-15/WRX/R32-R34/300ZX plus is a very popular caliper for upgrades, and yet occasioanlly you gets fitments where nothing you do shuts them up. We sell about 35-40 of them a week, and it's probably once a fortnight someone will mention noise, so it's not a common enough problem to know exactly what it is, but certainly there's alot of other performance pads that have the same dramas with the 4pot Sumitomo's...

Thanks, it is going in to a workshop next week to get some other stuff done so I will get them to make sure I have not done anything stupid installing them, it was my first time doing it but I took it pretty slowly and carefully.

Other than that I guess I will give them a bit of a work out and see how they go after that.

I'm not sure but I think they may only be squealing when they are warm, not cold too.

    Odd.
