currently have a NA manual 4 seater zed.

Just did the conversion 2 weekends ago, thanks to Ross, Andy and Michelle for helping out.

Plan to convert to TT and do heaps of stuff to it, so im doing a build thread to show what im doing to my zed over time.

will be a slow build as things are done as time and money permits

lol at this photo em. your face is "interesting"

was a truly huge weekend , we worked out that between the three of us we put in over 48 man hours into the car.

finished around 12.30pm, just after midnight on sunday night/monday morning.

turned the key and no go.....DAMN IT!!!!!!!!! after having a quick look over we called it a night, we were all too tired to keep going and 2 off us had work in only a few hours time.

left the car at Andys, and he got a chance to look it over on the thursday. was simply a few mangled old connectors that werent working properly. so he fixed them up and vrooom, away she went.

hope you enjoy it mate, was a big step towards your ar being how you want it.

list of the crap jobs for people wondering on Manual conversions.

alternator harness. some very tricky plugs and tiny nuts on back of alt to figure out, and you need to be fairly profecient with reading a wiring diagram to work it out.

putting in pedals. what a job, really they are the worst part of the job by far. what a job, budget several hours.

aligning box, clutch install and all that isnt so bad. everthing just takes time, and lots of it.
