You can also send your own plenum to be done.

Throttle bodies and front bracket can also be polished but I dont have any ready to go, you would need to supply them.

Throttle bodies $72 ea and front bracket $65.

Wow caz, your polisher does an excellent job!

Can he do the middle part where the runners meet also? Simmo had his done by a local guy and it looked mint with that bit done also.

I hope they dont get damaged in transport!

Thankyou Tom, yes he is one talented guy. The plenum was way better than I was expecting  I had shown him my plenum and was hoping he could do similar, so to have him produce what looks like its chromed was a suprise!

I capped the hours he could spend on it(more the hours Id pay him for) as it isnt the sort of job he normally does. To bring the bottom of the valley ,which is usually covered anyway, to the standard of the rest of it would have put it too far over what we are accustomed to spending on a polished plenum.

I have special wrap, filler and hard boxes for transporting polished goods, ask anyone who has recieved them, I am always overkill with packing. :zlove: :zlove:

    Hi Caz

These look great, I was just wondering for the lazy zedder can you get these clear coated in some sort of high temp paint to seal them once polished to save on a lot of the up keep polishing required to keep them looking that good.

If you dont have someone let em know and I will make some enquiries and see what comes up

polished plenums doesnt need that mcuh attention....i got my plenum polished MONTHHSS ago and i havnt even touched it yet...still looks mint as....all you need to do is get the buffer etc out with some polishing compound and get at it once every 6 months....

love the work caz, this is worth it...for the work involved and quality of work that price is good....if i hadnt already got my plenum polished i would have gone with this. ;)

    Hi Jason,
I have no idea about clear coating it? I have a thing about painting or coating things (even chrome) in the engine bay, purely personal taste. HPC for function is different.

The beauty of polishing is it cant peel, bubble, crack or craze, change colour ect. The higher the standard of polishing the less maintenance it requires, finer finish means no pits to collect dirt. And it can look brand new with a buff.

If people want to coat them in something then thats up to them, but I don't think I would want to do that.

    Caz.. :)

That has to be the bling buy of the century! I know how much time an effort I put into mine( and I would never attempt it again), so at that price Caz should be reported to the Dept. of Industrial Relations or the like, for running a sweatshop somewhere:rolleyes:

LOL Baron. Whenever I spoke with him during the time he was polishing it he was always cursing it, saying what a #%*@ of a job it was.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, much appreciated. :p :p

    Calipers next I think ;)

I don't know what a new one costs, but there's no way it's going to look like that!

It would just be the rough cast alloy, only clean. Having seen this chaps other work in person on Caz's car I can tell you he does a first rate job, and this price is very reasonable and a whole lot less than I would have imagined for the work involved.

Looks great caz!. I've got to get cracking on the spare plenum I have here. As discused with you previously, i'll do all the prep work and maybe see what it would cost to have your guy do the final few stages. I'll be in touch at some stage down the line :)

    Regards
    Ben

Hi WA300ZX, its the polishing that is $460.00, it doesnt include a plenum..you have to exchange yours.

So its even worse than you thought!  LOL

    :D :D :D :D
