    Hi.
I have a 1991 300zx TT import from Japan in Black (metallic)

I want to touch up some scraps on the underside of my front bar (it was originally red which is now showing through)

The paint code on the compliance plate for colour and trim says 732G
I need to order some touch up paint from Concept Z and their codes are
DJ2 Black Emerald and KH3 Super Black.
Does any one know how to decode the Australian compliance plate for colour and which one would it match with the Concept Z coding
    Any other suggestions appreciate
    Thanks
    MIKEA

Message Coz and ask for 732, the G is your trim code.

732 was the most popular Z32 colour in the USA, maybe they sold out. :p

Mine is 732 see photo below. You can get it mixed at any good paint shop. Even Super Cheap mix it and put it into spray cans and may have seen touch up also. I had a spray can mixed a few months ago and it matched fine. Black with pearl if I remember correctly.

If you have your paint code you should be able to get a can mixed up at just about any auto store.

    What about clear coat?

Gidday, just wondering did you have then spray clear coat over that or was it mixed in?

Yes I needed a clear coat but that comes already mixed in a spray can. I was just spraying a different nose panel with a vent to see if it improved cooling so although it was a spray can job it came out fairly good for what I wanted to do. I just didn't want to drive around with it primed. I went to Super Cheap for something else and noticed they mixed paint and to my surprise the bloke seemed to know what he was doing. I would not attempt to spray a large panel as I like the car to look nice but for touch ups why not have a crack.
    Cheers
