There ain't much in Fernvale... There are a couple of cafe's at the top of Mt. Glorious but there is stuff all parking and they are always real busy with the bikies on the weekend.

 

I'll guess I'll be skipping the lunch stop then

 

BlueZ will be in the same boat........ my suggestion..... stock up at the IGA before we leave

And there are also 2 pubs here, and there is a take away shop in the woolies shopping centre. There is an Eagle Boys near the new pub, just as you enter Fernvale from Ipswich way, but since everyone is travelling from Esk/Somerset direction it is on the way out of Fernvale on the left

there is also a restaurant next door to the bakery if eating at the actual bakery doesnt satisfy the hungry 300zx crew after the cruise

 

well my clutch line crapped itself completely tonite, i drove 10 mins to my bros place and it went from full to empty in the resivoir. the clutch didnt disengage and it got stuck in gear. i managed to get it out of gear and push it on curb, saw the hoses underneath were really wet with brake/clutch fluid so theres the problem. so unless i get it fixed b4 sunday, i cant go on cruise unless sum1 has a spare seat. i dont have jacks or anything so i cant get under my car. sux. calling eric tomoz to see what it will take to fix. was looking forward to this

 

Where abouts are you? I haven't got much to do Saturday except check over my car.

I had 2 seperate issues with my clutch line so I know where to look.

Get some more fluid, find someone to push on the clutch and find out if it's a hard line or the slave hose that's leaking. Any mess around the top or on the chassis rail?

 

no mate none on top, got a light and looked down and couldnt see anything, then when i got down and looked under car it was all leaky and wet near the slave, i think. i reckon if u got sum jacks itd be a easy fix, if its just a busted hose. ill take some pics and post em up tonite. ive got fluid so ill get my bro to push the clutch this arvo and ill see if theres any noticable leaking. before yesterday i knew it had a leak but it was pretty small. then yesterday i think it just ripped open and now it leaks heaps. so cant drive it till fixed.

 

I have a spare hose at home if you get stuck for one.

Yep, sounds like the hose. The fluid would most likely spray from the leak so be careful and wear glasses. I've got a jack, can get stands and have tools. Didn't have any joy getting mine off when ztoy helped me out. Had to put it in his vice. So I don't know how we'll go with yours. I need to hunt around for my brake line spanner too. Will do that tonight.

 

I've got the last two off with just vice grips.

 

All I had was multigrips. I'll pinch a set from work. Did you want to drive down with the hose and give us a hand?
