I think you were thinking what I was initially thinking as well. If the extra sesnor data is in the Nistune (which is in the ECU) than one may be able to actively view this data.
I think a few things would have to be put in play to make that happen. As I understand it, that extra input data is simply stored and not read or acted upon in any way, shape or form. (please stop me if I'm going off half-cocked on this). That info or data is not being used actively by the ECU or anything else but simply being stored. I think you were hoping to actively see/biew thiese extra sensor inputs via some sort of means through ECUTalk? Perhaps like me, you're using an Ipaq PPC/PDA with ECUTalk to view other system parameters in real time. And perhaps thought that maybe ECUtalk could also display those extra sensor inputs in real time like the others. I would wish for that too but I don't believe it's possible - at this time at least. Perhaps if ECUTalk software could be upgraded to not only see this these extra sensor inputs but also display them in real time, that would be a very nice additional monitoring tool. Integrating that new USB board into ECUtalk might be a challenge though.
I hope I didn't make a mess in my interpretations of this? I was actually lead to this thread in my search to find out if I can actively use/integrate a MAP sensor with Nistune and delete my MAF. And unfortunately I got my answer as to it not being possible.
