QLD Nissan/Datsun Nationals, Warwick

Day one over and what a blast. Went out to Morgan Park to watch the guys practice, finally got to put some faces to names and generally had a good day. We then decided it was beer o'clock. So we headed back and Party Central kicked off. A few laughs and a lot of drinks later, we decided to get back at AZA for all those drunken annoying times. Several shots later, he was incredibly wasted beyond belief. Soon after, he was passed out with a couple of lovely young dolls. Incriminating photos to come. Bring on day too!

This forum really does bring out the best in people and this weekend was definitely no exception.

Great seeing familiar faces from the past all over again and is sad to say goodbye. Slowly we will all peel off again tomorrow morning.

I'm sure lots of us have some great photo's of the maximus inciminus. What a load of junk.

A massive thanks to everyone who made the weekend one not to forget and to our hosts over at Party Central... hope life goes back to normal as soon as possible!
It was great to finally put faces to names after years on here, definately nice to meet people and see what they are really like in person!
I dont think Warwick will forget us in a hurry, lets just put it that way!
The guys in the 4wd that tried to pick up Fate in his corset, jeans and wig will learn to look twice before trying to pick up again!
Hope everyone had a safe trip home and is recovering well.

A massive THANK YOU to Kristy and Craig for their never ending hospitality over the 3 days........you guys are unreal......what an amazing weekend.......it was so nice to spend quality time with the 'usual gang' and great to meet some new, interstate people and put faces to forum names - we were still meeting people today which has been great..........

Team UAS got back 3am this morning. I received a phone call last night in transit to say we came 2nd outright, not sure how. Rediculous Mark and hsi monster R34 GTR being given the cold shoulder treatment and kicked out for drifting, plus his transfer case failed.

Big thanks to Noddy from SAU and a local for storing The SLot Car in his shed over the weekend, and filling us in on the track. Best lap I did was 1 min 9.48 and 1 min 33 something for the three laps with standing start. Well done to Wizard for second fastest zed there 1 min 15 something.

Show and shine was a big show also and we were a bit lucky with the weather as only washed out the drags on Sat.


The Dat Nissan Nats are every two years and I think the next one is Adelaide?

K-zed and Mr & Mrs Wykked are back in Southport reviewing the fun times had over Easter and looking forward to an early night ahead of Baz's bash tomorrow. RZM and Jack are safely tucked up at the Anglers Arms - race cars in storage at a secret location.

What fun we had... There are so many pics yet to be posted I wait with bated breath and some trepidation as to what will be revealed.

I would just like to say what a great time Vanessa and I had over the weekend. It was great catching up with people we hadn't seen for a long time and also to meet the ones we hadn't met before. It continues to amaze me the friendliness and helpfulness that every member of this forum exibits.

We would like to especially thank Kristy and Craig for their patience with the group and for making their home available for us to use and party at. I hope we didn't get you on the wrong side of your neighbours. You helped make this weekend a very memorable one for us and a nicer couple you could not wish to meet.

So from Vanessa and I, thank you one and all and we will see you again at Armidale.

Firstly, as has already been said. Thank you to our hosts at Party Central for making this weekend what it was. Also again as has already been said that is was great to meet some of our original members and those from south of the QLD border. Special mention to Rhy_boy_1,2 and 3 for showing and allowing us to enjoy his skanky dreds.

This was the first major zed event that Mia and I had attended and we had a blast. On Saturday morning I put my car into the show n shine which was a first for me. Its surprising how anal you can become about streaks and wax marks when you car is on display. I wish I had put in my application to be on track on Sunday. I thought I would be ok but as soon as I arrived on track and smelt the hot brakes/exhaust/fuel/burnt rubber, I wanted so desperately to be out on the tarmac

It was unfortunate that the weekend was so wet but at least it held off long enough to have the show n shine and the sprints without spoiling everyones fun.

Glad to supply the drift Porsche for Sunday afternoons activities. I still reckon there were more photos taken of that R/C car than of real cars the whole weekend.

All and all a great weekend and we look forward to Armidale and this time, if there is a track there, I will definitely be on it.:zlove:
