Was great to be able to get out to the Island to watch a bit of the nationals track action. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay for too long..I did manage to get a few snaps from a few corners before heading off again.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. Although my car was far from what I consider clean, I took advantage of some open space near some unused garages to take a few snaps of my car, with my main intention being to get some updated shots of my car for Illustrator/Design Professional Wiz Cam. This is to give him another car to work his magic on with his idea of helping raise funds for Eric and Kylie

























The old taking a photo of a friend while taking a shot of a moving car trick! Unfortunately I managed to miss catching up with a lot of people. seems like we had some pretty bad timing, only getting a few distant hellos, and waves from Pete and Jen, and some other NDSOC members.

Good feedback here, I have to write a report on NDN13 to help the Z Car Club Q plan for NDN15 so this is very helpful. Forgot to mention at the dinner that the rogue club member who upset a few Z32 blokes last Nats at Warwick is long gone, we will not stand for any snobbery or bias, all Nissan Datsun enthusiasts are equal as far as we are concerned.

awesome laps, there were a few really quick 370's on the day. I think I just learnt a lot from watching both your vids, I was watching and thinking "when does this guy brake for turn 1?" haha, lots of commitment on display there I think I'm braking somewhere between the 1st and 2nd white line on the run upto T1, slowly gaining more confidence and braking harder and later.

are you planning to do the MSCA PI event in 2 weeks?

 

If I have my race car back, we will be testing it. Still a bit of an "if" .... If not, I may bring the Z34 .. depends on how much time I have and whether I can find tyres .. my front right is thru to the canvas ...
