Nems NA to TT conversion, with an added suprise ;)

    I'll try slipping it next time instead of banging it off the two step and ease into it as i go. See what it likes. I managed to fit the stock radiator up today which was a massive pain and im just waiting on the smic brackets before i can turn it on again.

    Ok well i was supposed to take the diff to UAS today to have the tailshaft flange swapped from the NA diff to the GTR diff, but since im on night shift i didn't quite wake up in time :p Oh well hopefully tomorrow i can get up and take it there. We're getting close, i'm pretty sure my car is the first full breather stock turbo car in Australia?

    Both diffs are at UAS now, should have the tailshaft flange swapped by tomorrow. Might be able to get it into a driveable state by the weekend. We'll see!

    Bit of an update:

    R32 GTR diff is in, with new solid diff bushes.
    TT 6 bolt axles are in
    TT Hubs are in


    just need to find a set of SMIC brackets for the japteks and it should be driveable soon :D

    BIG UPDATE!


    Car is running and i actually drove it last night around the block. Had an issue with the CTS wire breaking but thats an easy fix. Initial part throttle and stupid low boost testing is promising, low end torque feels great. Didn't mash the gas as the brakes need to be changed up front but i can't wait to give this thing 20PSI+

    Cars been sent off to UAS to have the last few bits fixed and a few more bits and bobs added to it. Can't wait to get it back and drive it properly, then send it off to get painted!

    I'm picking the car up tomorrow from UAS. My big brake kit, dumps and new shocks have been fitted. Its raining so i won't be able to give the mapping a quick checkover to see if there is any difference with the bigger pipes and dumps.

    Tractionless wonder, my 295 hankook evo 1's won't hold at half throttle in 2nd gear and only 15psi. But christ the low end/midrange on this thing is NUTS.

    It wasn't on the dyno at UAS so that would be impossible :p

    street tyres arent worth shit with decent power, especially with 2 degrees rear camber that most zeds have. Fit semis and it will put power to the road.

    Have u put a squeeze of nitrous on it yet ?

    The new 595 RSRRs seem to be getting good reviews, might be good value for a little more grip on the street. Haven't actually priced them up yet though. Or maybe check out hankook rs3s or achilles 123s.

    Looking forward to the quarter time on drags radials though.
