Z32 Need help removing a/c compressor

    Hi everyone need help to remove a/c compressor as its seized whats the best way to get to it and what do you need to remove? Thank you.

    I found the air con compressor quite easy to remove, AFTER I pulled the motor :rolleyes:

    It’s not as bad as everyone makes out. Remove the plastic pipe that feeds the passenger side turbo.

    And remove the fan, shroud and radiator to make undoing and redoing the hose connectors easier.

    Okay thanks for the help guys, it’s just I didn’t get the car not long ago and realised how bad the condition is there’s no belt.

    Does the compressor come on when you turn the A/C on?
    Does it have refrigerant in the system when checked at the low pressure side?

    OK, it compressor is stuffed, your supposed to capture the refrigerant.
    Are you going to recharge the system yourself?
    Manifold gauges are cheap these days, plus R134a isn't the only refrigerant available.
    Are you running R134a now?

    Ended up getting someone to take it out he said it was really hard to take out :cool: but at least now I have a/c again

    Yes I was thinking of removing the engine ;)
