Yeah Rhy, I want you to explain exactly HOW you got your injectors out without pulling the plenum!
Sorry if i'm out of line here, but i think you are just spinning shit now. And if you or your dad new anything about injectors, you'd know that they need to be ULTRASONICALLY cleaned.

I reckon you just pulled off the injector connectors and cleaned them up and are getting the 2 confused. (please correct me with specifics if i'm wrong though)

NOTE: I just want this clarified now to avoid future searches for newbies and giving FALSE technical advice!

Yeah just in case someone goes at the connectors with a pair of pliers with the plenum on...

So Rhys, you are 100% sure you removed the injectors? This is what your TT injectors should look like:

And this is an NA injector (but better picture showing o-rings etc)

I can remove my injectors with the plenum on :)

But I had to take off the plenum in the 1st place to grind down the sides when I was polishing the plenum I saw a tech on TTnet stating to grind down the plenum so I did IMO its safe coz you are just grinding down exesive cast marks and not actualy eating into the plenum.

That's the point exactly, unless his plenum has already been modified to allow for this, I call b/shit. EDIT: also, here in what the ignition coil looks like, in case you got the two confused [IMG]

Dude, bravo for fixing it yourself, but in the future try to be a little more concise or people won't understand what you're asking (hence people taking the piss).

So in the interest of future searches, can you explain what was wrong and what you did to fix it?

I used a tech article that told me how to pull the INJECTORS out but didnt specify how to get the plenum off.

i then used a tech article to remove the plenum (Dad did most of this because i had no idea what was what, i just unscrewed shit.

Then combining these two tech articles together, i was able to remove the injects and clean around them and clean them. (used some oily liquidy shit).

Then, did the reverse, didnt unplugg the injectors at all becouse i dont think the plugs would like it.

Put it back together and ran injector cleaner through the engine, some special kind they gave us that is different to the others.

Then, read the 300ZX CD i bought becoouse i forgot about it and relised i didnt do a bypass.

So now i have to do the whoel ****ing pull again.

    Can you STFU now?

Thats how you do it,,, why do you guys not know how to do it?

    "Read the ****ing tech articles"
    "Use search"
    "im a know jockey"

You happy now? ****,,, you guys where wrong, it was the injectors, i cleaned them, car works. end of the thread...

For future reference, my problem was dirty injectors not giving an even spray.

    Closed...

I did that in my first post.

Everyone just pretended (as they always do) that i didnt pull the injectors out, and did something completely random that i did not say or specify at all..

Yous always do that, you read between the lines when there is nuthing but a ****ign gap where the lines should be...

It starts to bug me if you haven't noticed.

Yes dear. At NO point did you say you did a plenum pull, then we mightn't have bagged you out. You said a plenum pull was NEXT on the agenda but apparently you've already done it. Yes, you're a know jockey.

bypass... what would a pull on its own archive?

3 threads, about 10 questions about the injectors and noone said anyhting or helped in any way towards the actual problem.

Thanks for the help and all but ****. when you go an idea and run with it, make sure its the right one..

Lol mate you don't just take the plenum off to do a 'bypass'. As you know you had to take it off to do the injectors. There, that's a plenum pull. Many also replace a lot of old dodgy hoses and a host of other things.
