Yes it is time for the Shannons Mid Winter Wander again. The date is the 21st of June and starts at the Glendale shoping center (at Newcastle) and consists of a cruise along a scenic route to one of the Hunter Valley wineries where we all gather for a show and shine. Last year was a good day and it was also the 1st to be held. It was a bit on the cold side so bring a jumper. For those that are comeing from Sydney we could meet up at the usual Thornleigh McDonalds and head up together. Being put on by Shannons you can count on some pretty cool classic, custom, sports cars and hot rods being there. The vineyards also have gardens to check out as well as live commenary and stuff happening aswell. Hope to see you all there!

Just renewing a bit of interest for this event.
Last year was a good turn out, with over 200 cars, and a modest, but well represented turnout of Z's from the Newcastle Z car club, and the Z-car club of Sydney. This year should be just as well represented.

I will be there, as per usual.

Come on people, come out and play! Show the Aussie and American cars for the lumps of iron they really are!

    This event is THIS SUNDAY

Plenty of vehicles to come and see, should be a fun day if the weather holds off. Wear your layers and a weather-proof jacket to be sure ;)

Good free wine tasting and botanic gardens nearby for the wives / girlfriends / kids who are not as interested in classic cars.
