The retainers on the window of my 2 seater z32 have broken from the window. Consequently, the window falls out its tracks, and the electric window won't go up. Is the window on a 2-seater the same as a 2+2. I would appreciate a quote to fix the retainers and/ or replace the window (etc). Will pay good cash $$$. There is a tech article on rattling windows that may help I think you will find that the 2+2 has a different window shape than the 2 seater. I know for a fact that the door pillar of the 2+2 is 20+mm higher. When I bought my car it had been repaired with a new drivers door. They had used the trim from a 2+2 on the pillar. It stuck up above the door and was making a hole in the rubber door seal.
mine replaced wont go in its tracks too i i just bought the window and door from a wrecker and i changed my window (forgot the name of the electric window winder) and changed it and now its at the top position and wont wind down?? 2str TT btw
