Moving on from several 280ZX's I have owned for many years, I recently acquired a 1990 N/A Australian Delivery 300ZX in Queensland.

A problem has just developed whereby blower fan/clock/cigarette lighter/front wipers do not operate when ignition is witched on. I have checked all fuses (footwell and engine bay) and fusible links, but all appear OK.

In searching the Tech Section it appears I may need to check the Accessory Relay, which the Workshop Manual indicates is near the footwell fuse box.
However, I cannot for the life of me locate the accessory relay or the blower relay which is also supposed to be located in the same location.

A previous post on this topic stated that the relays were behind the fuse box. Does this mean I have to remove the fuse box to get behind it to find the relays?

    thanks for any advice.

All I can suggest is try it. I do remember I once did some work on my sons z and we had a similar problem
    Hope thats some help mate.

Yes; you undo a couple of screws and pop the fuse block out(the relays are behind it).

Thanks for confirming that. I don't want to be crawling around under the dashboard any more than I have to.
