Is anyone here involved in the group buy for alloy SMIC's on TTZ?

Got trust intercoolers

195 X 155 BY 100MM THICK

thats their size, so not a great deal over stock, hence im still in on this group buy.

An improvement over the stock units.





I also modified the existing ducts to suit the bigger intercoolers, although clearance issues behind the indicators make full coverage hard.

 

why are trust intercoolers so expensive ?

looking on the uas site they aparantly sold a pair for $1700~ I fail to see how much better they would be over something much larger such as these TTZ ones ? They are very thick 10cm with proper mountings for the zed as well but not a great deal over the stock dimensions otherwise.

Would I be better off staying with the ones I have or simply upgrading to the TTZ ones ?

Remember these trust ones are 195 x 155 x 100 whereas the ttz ones are 280 x 200 x 90

I was in the group buy before I realised I had upgraded sidemounts, but since my sidemounts are smallish still Im still in.

 

Okay, looks like it's all going ahead.

Just spoke to Simon, they're being manufactured and he'll let us all know when they're ready to send out, there might be a delay with getting them polished or smthg.

I'm a little excited, to be honest.

Yeah, I haven't been contacted either - I will be claiming one set tho!

For damn sure, I was like the second person to jump on this bandwagon, and coerced a bunch o' others!

As for mounting, the advert says that it just bolts up to all the stock mounting points/pipes etc, which was one of the selling points for me.

Having looked at teh comparison pics (I think someone posted them in this thread) you can see how it fits up to factory mounts.

I kinda wanna get silicone hoses as well.

Picked mine up this afternoon, there are 4 sets left
for those in GB, Plus a set for xrated if he wants one.
My addvice is to ring simon, that way you will findout
shiping costs, and any thing else you want to know.

 

what ways can you pay ?

 

I just paid for mine by credit card.

But I have heard of people doing direct deposit.
