here are the results , 258 hp is how it was when i drove in 272 hp is with the timing moved forwards a little ( i had it back from where it should have been to start . 277 is with the valve adjusted up a bit but as you can see it really just made it spike more with no more peak boost . only running 11.5 psi boost at peak power. but with this run a very light knock as it came on boost apparently there is way to much timing in the factory maps there , so i could run more boost but would have to knock the timing back which would make the car worse to drive 99% of the time so not worth it . in all runs my afr was in the 10 to 1 while on boost . This is the first car i have gotten dynoed and i have to say its well worth the money the equipment they have detects pinging wayyyy before you will ever hear it on the road and i can really see how terrible the factory ecu tune is once the car is modified . Well anyway i basically just did this to see what the engine had after countless arguments with sr20 loving friends and so i have something to remmeber my vg30 :zlove: . the motor will come out in the next few weeks to make way for the vh45det my mods are arc side mount coolers and a twin 2.5 inch full length exhaust but still with factory dumps
What condition is the motor and turbos in? I'm assuming it is all stock motor, are there many kms on it?
the motor was rebuilt about 20 000 kms ago , the turbos were replaced with new cartridges at the same time , injectors cleaned and all that .
where i normaly have it set ( the first graph ) i think its actually really good , its just one of those $60 ones from autobarn , but when we turned up the boost with it a bit it really only spiked more and that was it shown on the second graph
