Hi All,Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with headlights being chipped etc..My zed had clear sticky plastic over the headlights to protect them, but it was flithy between plastic and glass so took them off.Just wondering if anyone knows:
-Where I can buy more plastic
-How much are headlights (roughly) if they get stone through them. Has anyone had this.
-Does anyone have covers or alike over their lights.
    Cheers,Baff.

    Yep, sounds the same......>>

John (Zcar91) put me on to this stuff after he had a headlight broken. It is made by 3M and you should be able to get it from any good auto store, from memory mine came from Autobarn. It Comes in a flat sheet and one pack is enough to do a car. John did mine at our very first Tech Day back in January 2001, and they still look good. We even did the driving lights, which helps to retain the two little end pieces on each. I just bought some from Autobarn and fitted

then during my lunch break. It seems the you loose a TINY but of headlight brightness through it (but when the glue drys it should be better), but I assume Zeds don't have the world's best headlights anyway.BTW, about $40. And enough left for driving lights at bottom as WYKKED suggested.
Guy at shop said he went to a sales demo where they fired a 22 gun at a headlight with it on. And the bullet didn't reach the glass.
Good to know for when I drive through the next drive-by-shooting.=) Baff.
