Normally I'd say bring what ever you want. If you want to come in an 80s Pulsar, all power to you. But Commodores are where I draw the line!

 

Get a ride with someone? If was me I would or just not go! It's a zed event, don't really want it to start looking like a mix of "hoons"

 

my Z got written off shortly after i sold it back in 2009.

Only reason i want to come is to cruise the GOR with Z's because i still love them and would be cool to see some of the old school members again

i remember the kid that bought your zed too. IIRC he paid me to change his brakes. to bed it in i took the car for a flog with him riding shotgun. had some sideways fun in it. good zed, too bad he wrecked it soon after.

 

that kid didnt listen to a word i said, told him it had redline mt in the gearbox and not to change it and he put cheap shit in and caused sychro crunches, told him not to drop the engine oil as it had AMSOIL and filter in it only a few thou k old and he dropped it.
those pads were 5,000 old bendex pads i put in myself.

badxtc that one i bought i parted out to make a nice profit, the other red Z was my EX's which was also sold
theres no more Z's in my possession just my ss-v which is why i havent been so active on the forum

when i got to it, the pads were down to the wear indicators and he complained they made noise. if the pads only had 5000kms on them when you sold it then he must have been a rubbish driver and ruined them pretty quickly.

nuh didn't need one , that was good , it had air leaking from places, had a play with the bass timing , turned up the boost a little , gave it a once over , and yeah thats it from memory , it went well tho , i think it was 250 rwkw ? but it went well , ive still got your exedy twin plate here the red top

 

That's just it. The amount of douchebags fanging around in their bullshit ecotec VYs, you can't go on a cruise with a Commodore. There's enough labelling that goes on if your car is modified, throw some Commodores in and you're asking for trouble.

 

Geez I hope there's just piss taking with some posts in this thread. As a long time member Trav is welcome on any of our cruises no matter what car he drives, even if it was a banged up VL commodore lowered via cut springs.

Well, that's fair. Obviously I'm not one to be making decisions on who comes and what they drive.

 

You have absolutely no say on who comes and what they drive to any of our events. These are our friends and have been for some time. way before you came along If you don't like it don't come.
