    rain??

I've just a had a look at the forecast, and in my mind its not that bad. Its currently saying that it will be 23 with some showers. "Some showers" is hardly need for concern, hell, we've had whole weeks where its been "some showers" and it hasnt rained...

And if it rains, big deal...... I'm sure your zeds wont catch a cold..:)

    Scattered...

Yeah according to Foxtel only scattered n localised.
Once you get out towards Avalon way it's totally different... usually better weather over that side.

Don't worry Renee, I think Kingy and Col have it all sorted...we just need to be at the Avalon BP by 9AM which is when they should be rolling up to start refuelling (us too :p).

Only 3 more days and its cruisin time

    Cheers!

Sorry I'm going to have to bail, have had a few lingering problems that I haven't really had the chance to get around to on the Zed, been too busy driving the MR2. Don't want to risk reliability on such a long cruise, will catch up next time though!
Hope the rain holds off for you all.

    yep :D

Col is bring the melbournites down to meet up with us at the BP.

O'Connor Television is bringing the Geelong group out to meet up with the main body near the CERES / Ring Rd intersection when we get near there.

I'll be taking you all to our lunch venue and a tour around the GOR from there.

Then I'll deliver you all back to a Geelong for a feed for both you and the car at the end of the run.

Then we all go home and post up the pics in the post events section :D

& the planning for the next GOR starts

forecast says 1-5mm so it's not as bad as yesterday or today with around 10-20mm of rain.

sounds good kingy, can't wait. if it rains it'll be a repeat of the run from earlier this year. just slow down this time when we get to that ditch in the road...

Weather along the coast doesnt seem to follow the guidelines set down by the 'specialists' ....

Yesterday we had 20mm of rain in 2 hours

Today its quite sunny with a couple of overcast periods passing by & quite warm outside

Temp at the moment is 22 .... Top of 19 was the forecast :bash:

barometer started moving away from the "rain" section and into the "change" section last night...... rel humidity is still @ 70%.

I'm going for a top of 23 on Sunday with occasional periods of cloud cover through otherwise clear skies...... humidity to be around 60% ..... & no rain.

    :D

wonder who'll get it right ...... specialists or the locals

    ;)
