Do you do fuel rail servicing as well? Just had my whole rail removed. Honestly speaking I just don't want to remove the injectors myself due to the risk of destroying the screws holding it, and I wanted to have the rail cleaned too. Thanks!
There is a step by step instruction guide in my thread http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1251581#post1251581

Just picked up the injectors from Arvin and I have to say he has done an amazing job. I also got a chance to see him test the injectors too. Nice setup!! For anyone that is thinking of getting their injectors serviced, DO IT. I highly recommend Arvin's workmanship. Thanks Arvin, it was nice to meet you.
Thanks for the kind words, John. Nice to meet you as well. One of the bonuses for me of doing this servicing... getting to match faces with forum names. Still owe you sixteen bucks... Arvin :zlove:
Feel free to send them over, Graham. You're already in the list so 2 slots remaining stay same... AAA :br:
Hi Arvin, how are things going with my injectors? Having fun with them? No rush at the moment, still waiting for parts for the plenum. Gonna take at least 2 weeks..
Hey Kent, Finished your series 2 already. Will take my time with the series 1. I'll keep you updated. Cheers, Arvin :zlove:
Ordered a batch of o-rings and pintle caps, ready for the last few sets of injectors. Two slots left... AAA
Question for pennyarvs / brisz Hey Guys You both seem to know a lot about injectors so I thought I would ask you some questions - I read your part on the 6th cylinder and assume it also applies to the 5th cylinder as well to some degree (at the back of the motor) does this mean your 2nd highest flow tested injector should go there as well? Is there any ongoing maintenance to keep them in order apart from the plenum pull injector servicing? - e.g should you use those injector cleaners now and then (the higher octane /hydrocarbon injector cleaners made by lots of companies like valvoline/ castrol / penzoil etc) or are they a waste of time and/ or detrimental to your engine and/or injectors in some way? Is there anything else one can do to keep them in tip top condition? Regards P.S. Enjoyed this post a lot - and now I also know where to send my injectors when I do the plenum pull
Hi misszen, I'm sure John can shed more light regarding this matter than myself. Before, I used to buy those over the counter injector cleaning bottles that you add to petrol every other few thousand kilometres but from what I understand, the 98 octane petrol that we use already has got this "ingredient" which serves as an "injector cleaner". Hence, I stopped using them as I always use 98 octane anyway. Also, it'll be best if you avoid getting the tank to empty to avoid getting those minute particles (dirt, grime, etc) into the system as they get deposited at the bottom of the tank. I always see to it that I refill once my tank gets to half or 1/3 empty. I'm sure there are more tips floating around but hope these ones I mentioned help... Arvin :br:
