I am seriously considering a replacement assembled shortblock or similar was wondering if any of you are prepared to ship to Geraldton - 6530 wa - and some ideas on price delivered PM me if interested. Obviously this is an after Xmas requirement not expecting you guys to ruin your holidays for this. I can also organise shipping if required through work, but this is not a necessity. Both my blocks are beyond reasonable reuse condition 1 has been run with too much boost and detonated (poor previous owner was taken for a ride) and the one I have just pulled looks like it has cracks in the cylinder walls, not really sure of this but will explain why it has always been low in comp there and has continuously been blowing my coolant system Cheers Stuart

Hi Stu, please don't take this the wrong way BUT I think you will get more helpful responses if you contact the workshops that yours interested in rather than Putting the job to "tender" on the open forum.
please understand I actually have no idea who offers this service and this wasnt a tender idea just a who will ship to me request. I have pm'ed Eric already and I also asked for those interested to pm their interest. This was to find out who is able to provide the service I am after. I have checked the A2Zed website and his options there are drive in drive out. I am not going to try and get them to publicly tender against each other and I was not even trying to get a tender going. And all correspondence they offer me will be kept confidential unless they specificly request otherwise (sorry others who want more). I understand your comment Rob260 but I think either my intentions came across wrong or you interpreted them wrong. I am in a location that makes it harder for me to visit these people and was hoping that if they are able to help me they would contact me in PM.
Hey mate - I got Tom to do an engine for my zed - turned out good, price was ~4500 for the rebuilt long motor, just took his sweet time doing it (7 months...). I priced around a few other options and if you have the $$$ spare and want quality Id consider these guys. Their rebuilds are top notch (all the Americans seem to love them in their forums). Freight to Geraldton will be around $900. Support local business!!! Dont send it overseas where you dont know whats getting done and if something does go wrong, think of the hassle in dealing with it!!! Only place overseas i would even consider to send an engine for work would be EP Racing, but thats big $$ i would presume...but with quality comes a big price Free advice Abraham

He is in geraldton, there is no local zed shop. The guys at mach1 are good though and have worked on Turbo zeds before. I went local due to all the endorsement the guyz here gave pzp and watched a 3 month job turn into 7 months with non stop excuses. Supporting local simply because they are local is idiotic, but if you can get a local shop that's reliable stick with them! I'm personally of 2 minds about PzP still, currently been waiting 2 months just on coil pack connectors. Nissan japan is not that slow. Good luck on your new engine
