Direction indicators on my Z32 all work fine in normal operation, however when I lock the car with the remote the lights flash on then off once, as expected, but then they come back on, and stay on. When the car is then unlocked, all goes back to normal. Knowledgeable suggestions would be really appreciated.
Ok, closing in on it. I have a Mongoose MX705S security system, which appears to have gone "whacko" (genuine electronics issue terminology from Sony Corp and their VCRs). How to solve "whacko" from the symptoms I described is the real question.
Easiest way might be to remove the mongoose and replace with a new system. Otherwise you could try replacing relays in your mongoose or checking the mongoose board for dry joints.
Try downloading the manual for your alarm. There should be a test mode you can perform. The alarm might be telling you one of the sensors are not closed such as door or bonnet.
