Hey guys im about to fit my aftermarket steering wheel... after reading the instructions for the boss kit it states that i should use a steering wheel puller.. does anyone know what this is and where i can get one? also how do i go about removing the stock steering wheel?

Its called giving it a good wack from behind with your hands. Alternating between each side.

It will come off just fine after a few minutes.

Any car accessories place will have a puller $10 - $20 useful tool imo

    Hey,

Yeah its not that hard to get the wheel off. Maybe spray some WD-40, INOX or RP7 onto the thread and leave it sit for 10min, come back and just work it like a see-saw while pulling up.

Just one bit of advice - leave the big nut screwed on the end otherwise all of a sudden the wheel will let go while your tugging on it and come up, wacking you in the face, if not breaking your nose.

    Cheers!

    Reminds me of my friend

Me: Have you got a steering wheel puller?
Friend: Over there (points to pitchfork).

He's also been known to suggest that his hand is a highly calibrated torque wrench :)

Seriously though I'd buy one from autobarn/repco/kmart.

    Great investment and cheap as!
