I would suggest a section for population of fairlady Z in this forum according to version, spec, colour and year model . Probably we can add suburb and state. Other than to share sheer beauty and might of our fairlady, problems and parts could easily be sorted out by knowing who own what and where.
I dont understand what you are intending to say... but we have a tech section that has more then enough info on which models came out, specs, colours etc.... and if your looking for info on a particular model use 'search' we have alot of aussie 'z32' based businesses etc for all ya parts too... no pun intended
i think, if i understand correctly, he was suggesting a resigister of how many of each flavour we have in the club, and thier approximate locations? Personally I dont see the point unless statistics is your thing. The club i was in before (SilviaWA) enforced a signiture rule where you had to state your approx location, type of car, engine, etc WHile I didn't like the way it was enforced, it was helpful to know what people had. But saying that, there was vastly more variations S13, S14, S15, Sil80, ONevia, And then the engines CA18DE CA18DET CA18DE+T SR20DE SR20DET SR20DE+T RB... blah blah blah Auto/Manaul SO yeah , it was helpful when talking technical to see what people had as you knew who to ask Not quite so applicable to this club I wouldn't think
thieves have many ways of stealing.....should they want to. you just give region not address. Sydney is so vast....
Agreed. Thats why i didn't like the sig idea on SilWA But i was shot down in flames by cries of "Its not like we drive ferraris" funny how with the next breath some would claim there car is worth $30K and could beat a ferrari anyway... the past is the past Going back to the database..... if its just nameless stats with no location, i dont see the harm, but yeah, i also dont see the point. It also wouldn't give you a true demograph at all. There are 1000's of zeds out there that are no forum members. I know we'd like to think otherwise, but there are many Aus Specs out there, and a heap of Jap Sepcs too that have never even set eyes on our presiose club pages.
You already have location under peoples usernames... then you can click on their garage (should they choose to have one) and look at their rides.
/checks his own garage page ....ahhhh the 180..... good times... i wonder what she's doing right now?
fair enough..no locality whatsoever. just for statistic sake. Census for tha sake of ..knowing our numbers..whats wrong with that? i just love to know how many of mine still well and good on the road. probably rare or maybe plenty..i dont know so statistics help. i know Wizard and retro got want but to go through everyone garage?...where the hellll....to borrow Dave Salmoni of man againts wild..
not many use them for some reason... but i like my version Jspec slick 2 seater NA. i dont know how many still around. retro reckon around 15. but where is the figure. Forum tell us number of users but not version of zed. Wizard got two I found by accident, one like mine onother TT
to much information i dont want to give out details of my car, i know if i did that all the guys on the forum would wont to steal it. and frankly i would not blame them.lol :zlove:
Mines insured for $15K..... hmm.... maybe I SHOULD post more details.... and name and address and days when im not using the car... and instructions on how to remove T28's from a VG30DETT (can't think what else they'd be after) this database is an AWSOME idea Let me check my ins is up to date (PLEASE NOTE THIS POST IS A JOKE. IF MY CAR GOES MISSING IN THE NEXT WEEK OR 2 I DID NOT PLAN IT OK)
